IN-THE-PRESS-GRAPHIC

What we wear and the art we make references what is important to us: what we do, where we are going, special occasions or activities. In the past—and still in some cultures—textiles and art both reference place. As a Northern California Fibershed Artisan Producer, I’m interested in observing and being a part of the unfolding and evolving collaborative place-based style of the area. Sign up for the newsletter and check out the blog for more about local fashion, color and our connection to place.

This is interesting. I’ve been focusing on horses and ignoring music. I recently bought a new guitar. I think my new-found patience for guitar practice can be attributed to the repetition of horse training and their slower metabolism. Not sure it’s exactly what you are describing, but the dual interests are motivating for me.

I’m so happy to hear about you playing music, I remember loving that about you when we were neighbors!
